Moved to AZ in 1965 to a small town called Gilbert. They were only 1000 population then. Now over 250,000.
Married to my husband Bill McCune(Maintenance Mgr.) 17 years, we have one dog, Levi who is six.
Both our parents are still living.
I have three boys, one daughter in law and three grandchildren.
Needless to say we found the Lamplighter in September of 2012. Came every other weekend for awhile until December 2014, where we were on space #238.
I worked at the Gilbert Unified Schools for 18 years as an Health Assistant and ended with being an attendance clerk.
Moved from the schools to Coulter Infiniti car dealership in Mesa for seven years in accounting.
Shortly after we moved here I accepted a job at The Lamplighter RV Resort in February 2, 2015. I love people..my passion is music, I play flute and back-up vocals.

Born just North of London, England. Educated at Hendon Technical College then completed an apprenticeship on Jaguar cars. Spent a year working in Copenhagen and touring Scandinavia and Europe then almost two years in the Merchant Marine working in the engine room and traveled all over North America, Canada and South America. Qualified as a C.A.A. licensed aircraft maintenance engineer and F.A.A.A&P Mechanic. Learned to fly on a 1934 DeHavilland Hornet Moth and has flown over 130 different types with a total of over 5000 hours. Also qualified on Helicopters and Seaplanes. Spent a year or so in Nigeria during the Biafran Civil War. Returned to England and started his own maintenance company specializing in rebuilding and flying WW 2 aircraft in displays all over Europe. Moved to Tucson, AZ in 1992 and continued to fly WW 2 aircraft for an outfit North of Tucson including the Spitfire, Curtiss P-40, Boeing B-17G and North American T-28 among others. Then worked for a large aviation museum for six years restoring many aircraft for their collection. Finally moved to Payson in 2011 and has worked for Lamplighter for about four years and now getting checked out in a Gyro copter for fun.
Born in Chicago, moved to Scottsdale in 1983. Ran my own Landscape business as a Master Gardener for over 30 years.
Arrived at Lamplighter in 2013, as a part timer. Every other weekend. Soon we were going down to the valley every Monday, then straight to work.
Moved here permanently December 2014.
Became Maintenance Manager August 2015.
Married 17 years.
Music is my passion, vocals and guitar. I also teach Guitar and enjoy my past time as a Recording Engineer.
Raised in Phoenix area. ASU graduate in 1969. Worked 6 years as aero engineer. Built home communities for 21 years. Acquired Lamplighter in 1997 and added 199 new spaces.
I was born in Hays, Kansas on September 18.
After graduating from High School I married and lived in Utah, Colorado, England, New Mexico, Arizona and Germany, we returned to Arizona where our children were raised in the Payson area.
In the early 2000’s we cleaned out our home and downsized to fit into a Travel Trailer and started on the road of full time RV’ers and have never looked back.
In 2005 we returned to Paysonl where my family has lived since 1976, and moved into The Lamplighter.
I joined the team at Lamplighter in January 2018, and totally enjoy meeting and helping our tenants and future tenants.
